WBF has become the centre of an outdoor artistic village called 'Bodypaint City' which graces the shore of a pristine turquoise lake. Within 'Bodypaint City' visitors are welcomed by hundreds of performers and models being painted live on the festival grounds. There are live performance, street performance, huge stage acts and installation art to be discovered around every corner.
The festival week explodes into its final three days in 'Bodypaint City' where awards and competitions are held, massive music acts, a range of international culinary delights, fashion shows and parties can be enjoyed. The World Champions for 2014 will be applauded by a music synchronized fireworks on festival and then baptised with paint at the after show party 'Colour Splash'.
WB Academy will start the festival week with over 50 workshops where beginners or advanced visitors can learn any technique that could be used for body art making. From brush sponge painting to costuming, photography or performance there is a class for everyone.
The Global Bodypainting Conference will be held for the first time this year. With this conference a stage will be created where leading artists can exchange ideas, share experience and be challenged to the questions of their peers and student.
The tickets for the main days are available in pre-sale at €16 and include the access to all concerts and shows.
